In Back to the Dawn, you play a reporter caught up in a dark conspiracy and thrown into a maximum security prison for not playing ball. Gather your wits and learn how to survive in this hostile environment. Explore every inch of the prison and exploit any weakness you find. Make friends (or enemies) with your fellow inmates, and help them break out of prison.
It's not just your life that you're saving, but the entire city's! You play the role of a framed journalist trying to survive and escape from prison. Working outside with your lawyer friend, you must gather evidence to protect yourself and the city from grave danger.
Your prison has a colourful cast of fellow inmates, each with an interesting story to tell. You can either befriend them or fight them, bully them and submit to them. Also decide if you want to be part of a gang or a smart lone wolf who tricks your way around everyone. It's hard, but hey, you're in jail! Are you a tough guy who lets your fists do the talking, a thief who hides in the shadows, or maybe a smooth talker with some hacking skills? You can be whatever you want to be in this game. Learn all kinds of skills, craft tools of different trades and go from 'new fish' to 'top dog'!
